Thanks Anthony – it’s one of those things we sort for client blogs but not for our own! We do have little share links down in the bottom right of every page, but they’re not very prominent for blog posts, I agree. I’ll sort something now I think. Thanks for sharing our blog – I checked your website and thought I might just let you know that the link to your Facebook Page doesn’t work for me, I get a Facebook error when I click it. Seems pretty obvious after you explained it, but I hadn’t thought of using Google Alerts in this fashion.

But when its returning all relevant sources to your keyword, any backlinks from these sources would be highly relevant in most cases. And because the information is coming from posting sites or blogs, its likely that commenting is going to be allowed.

Great suggestion. I’m going to add this to my backlinking regiment

These are good tips. I would add that for businesses wanting to show up in the search results for a specific locality, it is critical that the pages on their websites contain the name of the cities that those businesses serve. These are keywords too and the search engines will know to display those businesses’ websites during local searches being done by customers in those cities.

For sure those are some of the most common SEO mistakes, however there are more, for example overdoing link building, completely leave on-page optimization or the opposite, over optimizing the website. One of the worst things is 404 pages.

I’ve read the official report from Google which says that Panda 2 revise will be in power soon, that’ll furthermore influence different than English languages and will go globality. Since March, I gained far more top 10 Google search positions, as top results become better and do not contain countless article directories, auto-blogs and duplicate content. I think thats why, all around webmaster’s and SEO message boards it was named “farmer update”.
