Corporate Responsibility
At WNW Design we have developed a successful and growing business and feel it is important to put something back into the community. We look to do this in several ways.
We have strong links with local schools, especially Exmouth Community College, with whom we are a Gold level partner. Since the early days of running our business we have offered Work Experience to a number of students, from Exmouth and other local schools, allowing them to get an insight into the workings of a website design company.
This rewarding experience has lead to some students progressing to do web design courses at University; in fact our first student has recently graduated and is now working at a London-based design agency. This confirms our belief that today’s young people are capable of working hard and achieving remarkable levels of high quality work when challenged and motivated to do so.
Our support of local youth and our interest in sport combined when we agreed back in 2001 to sponsor the website of up and coming local sailors, Nick Rogers and Joe Glanfield. In the following years RogersGlanfield have gone on to become the World Number One ranked boat in the 470 Dinghy racing and have captured Silver medals in both the World Championships and at the 2004 Athens Olympics. For more information on RogersGlanfield, please visit http://www.rogersglanfield.com/
In 2010 we teamed up with The West of England School and College for Children and Young People with Little or no Sight who provide support and expert care to visually impaired young people, many who have severe and complex needs as well as visual impairment.
With the initiative to celebrate our 10th birthday we donate £100 to the West of England School and College for each new hosting client throughout 2010. Contact us today to find out how we can support your business online and help the West of England School and College raise the money they need to care for visually impaired young people. www.westengland.ac.uk
WNW Design's founder Nigel Wilkinson is Chairman of the Exmouth Chamber of Commerce, committed to helping other businesses in our hometown develop and grow, whilst ensuring the town remains a great place to live and work.
We take great pleasure in supporting these members of our local and global community and look forward to developing our links with these organisations.
What our Clients Say
"In the past we have had websites constructed and maintained by other companies, but for one reason, or another were never satisfied with the complete service they were offering and like you we shopped around for web companies. We looked at large, medium and one man band web companies and I would describe WNW as a medium sized company. I have had bad experiences in the past with one man band websites promising the world, but they did not deliver on a number of areas and proved far more expensive in the end and slow to deliver when alterations were needed. WNW will not probably give you the slickest, wow you presentation with fancy graphic's etc, but Mark and his team are brilliant at delivering an excellent product that works. None of the team at WNW pretends to be a master of all areas of the web, but they always have a member of their team in the office, who is a true expert in that field and they will sort it out quickly and at a good price!"

"We now have three websites which are listed below that are with WNW and we have a gold optimisation package with one. I would also strongly recommend their website content management system, so that you can keep your website current and one of the optimisation packages to get your website listing well on Google, as there is no point spending all your money in having a fantastic website nobody, but you can find! If I needed a new website my first call would be to WNW and I strongly recommend them to you, as they will work with you all the way to give you a great website."
