A new news section has been recently launched on one of our client’s websites.

Topgear.co.uk, who specialise in a wide range of car parts and accessories including, alloy wheels, car tyres, performance exhaust systems and catalytic converters, have recently added a news section.

It will be used by Topgear to keep their large number of visitors up to date on such topics as new designs and ranges of alloy wheels, the latest information on car tyres and anything else they think would be of interest to their visitors.

Sound And Visual Systems are a Devon based firm specialising in electronic security systems including burglar alarms, cctv systems, access control systems and other ancillary products.

The site has now undergone a small update aimed at improving their appearance on the search engines.

This has been done as one of our Silver Search Engine Optimisation package and will hopefully soon see them featuring for regionalised phrases such as burglar alarms Devon, cctv Devon, access control systems Devon and electronic security systems Devon.

For most web site owners, this is a rhetorical question. Any web site that has been set up to promote a businesses products or services needs traffic to ensure it’s success.

Participants in the survey also chose Google as the search engine they would most likely use in the future.

Google, Yahoo, and MSN are the top three search engines, in that order, based on overall consumer experience, Keynote found in a survey of 2,000 consumers. Ask Jeeves and Lycos round out the top five, the San Mateo, California-based web performance monitoring company said.

Getting to the top of anything is tough. Whether it’s business, sports or anything else; the race to number one is never easy. There’s typically only one thing tougher than getting to number one and that’s keeping it. Google, long recognized as the top search site, has enjoyed immense growth, popularity, and capital as a result.
